The Allied Gardens School of Martial Arts opened in San Diego in 1991 by John and Christine Neilson and their business partners Jeff and Julie Grieves. Originally located on the corner of Fanita and Navajo in San Diego for 6 years, we decided to relocate a couple of miles away to the community of Allied Gardens. This friendly family oriented community has been our home now for the past 9 years. As our school continues to flourish we look forward to maintaining a strong relationship with this community.

John and Christine retired at the end of 2003 giving Eric Protas the opportunity to run the school.
